The primary reason to see SHOUT! The Mod Musical now housed in the
shag-a-licious Julia Miles Theatre on 55th Street would
be to answer that nagging question you might have had about the
origins of Kiki of Kiki and Herb:
How did she get here?
And to see the Green Girl (why aren’t all females color-coded in
order that we might better know just what attributes they’re
showcasing?), representing nymphomania, and the Orange Girl,
representing dipsomania, as they cavort their way through Sixties
car convention schtick is to finally comprehend the long and winding
show business road which has landed Kiki on a bar stool, alongside
Herb and a bottle of Jack Daniels. Well worth the price of
admission just to have that matter settled.
Best always,
Mark and Robert
