Leave it to the sailors, originators of the term “happy hour,” meaning fun on the ship.  Leave it to your own imagination to determine just what kind of fun those Navy boyz had in mind, back in the 1920s.  Here on the Beach, Happy Hour just got a makeover—at Halo.  Sponsored by Edison Farrow’s SoBe Social Club, Happy Hour @ Halo means half-price drinks, free hors d’oeuvres, and comedy videos.  We’re talking the original Olivia Newton-John musical fiasco, Xanadu, projected on Halo’s white walls—a film that becomes a whole lot more hysterical after a couple $4 cocktails.  And as the sun sets beyond Alton, glistening on the palm fronds of Lincoln Road, you might find yourself singing your own version of “Xanadu”—every Friday, all summer long.

Best always,
Mark and Robert
